1. Agreement & Operating Entity
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EntityCodes.org (the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by Tech Labs FZ LLC, a free-zone limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with EntityCodes.org, its content, or services shall be governed exclusively by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
You irrevocably agree that the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) or applicable free-zone judicial authority shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the operation of EntityCodes.org.
3. Use of Public-Domain Registry Data & Bulk Datasets
EntityCodes.org provides unified reference indexes for federal classification systems (NAICS 2022, SIC 1987, SBA Size Standards, IRS PBA Codes). Primary classification tables are sourced from public-domain U.S. government records:
- Public Domain Work: Classification structures, titles, and definitions are public domain government works.
- Bulk Open Datasets (CC0): Raw CSV and JSON research datasets hosted under `/research/` are released under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0 1.0 Universal) Public Domain Dedication.
- Acceptable Use: You may freely browse, link to, cite, or download dataset files for commercial, research, or compliance engineering applications.
4. Service Availability & Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT, CLASSIFICATION INDEXES, AND VALIDATORS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TECH LABS FZ LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE UAE LAW, TECH LABS FZ LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
